World Technology supplies one of the largest utility scale solar mining project installed globally for mining applications and the largest in Suriname. 5.148MWp DC Solar Power Generation for a Gold Mining operation in Suriname.
New York, New York. – March 17, 2014 – World Technology Corporation (World Tech), a preferred supplier of capital equipment for commercial and utility-scale solar systems, announced today that it has successfully supplied one of the largest utility scale solar mining project installed globally for mining applications. The project location was a decommissioned air field strip in Suriname. World Technology noted that the entire system was installed without one call to its engineering partners due to advanced pre-planning of structural engineering and manufacturing with superior end to end support. The supply of products consisted of the 5.148MWp DC of Applied Energy Technologies’ (AET) two row high portrait ground-based solar mounting system (Models RAYPORT-G ECO BALLASTED), and 5.148MW DC of ET Solar’s ET-P672300WW 300Wp polycrystalline modules.
