World Technology announces Release of Balance of System Portfolio Line
New York, New York. – October 12, 2016 – World Technology Corporation (World Tech), a preferred supplier of capital equipment for commercial and utility-scale solar systems, announces today that it has released the full Portfolio Line of solar balance of system components in further partnership with Portland, Tennessee based -Shoals Technologies Group (Shoals). The full Portfolio Line of PV balance of system components include PV Cables, PV Connectors, In-Line Fuses, PV Fuses, PV Fuse Holders, In-Line Blocking Diodes, Y-T-X DC Interconnect System, Bare Grounding Cables, DC Cables, and AC Cables; and also include factory pre-assembled Solar Jumper, Solar Whip, Solar Homerun, custom DC Harness/Interconnect and Shoals’ patented DC Big Lead Assembly DC systems.
World Technology Corporation notes that the innovative plug and play of Shoals’ custom DC Harness/Interconnect System and DC Big Lead Assembly will further reduce installation and labor cost for customers, and reduce the field installation. World Technology also notes that Shoals’ custom DC Harness/Interconnect System and DC Big Lead Assembly removes the need for Combiner boxes, bolted electrical connections, Cable Trays, Trenches, Re Combiners, and Double Wide Power Stations, and further Eliminates Field O&M Torquing for Bolted Connections.
