World Technology Corporation Supplies 192kWp of IronRidge’s XR Flat Roof solar mounting system and XR Ground Mount a Solar Residential Leasing Program in Mexico
Mexico – August 17, 2017 – World Technology Corporation (World Tech), a preferred supplier of capital equipment for commercial and utility-scale solar systems, announced today that it has successfully supplied 192kWp of IronRidge’s XR Flat Roof solar mounting system and XR Ground Mount, and 45.5kWp Ballasted Roof Mount to a growing Solar Residential Leasing Program in Mexico.
The scope of supply consisted of IronRidge solar mounting system with Universal Fixing Object UFO Mid Clamp and tilt legs. IronRidge’s UFO bonds with the module frame and the rail to form a parallel bonding path that is repeated throughout the array.
American made products from IronRidge, Inc. were chosen due to its ease of installation, universal mounting for various sized solar modules and makes, rapid install times, and its ability to be scaled.
The installation firm notes that the XR Ground Mount is one of the simplest roofs in the industry and can be installed without the use of major construction or excavation equipment.
For this particular project, World Technology’s team had to account for specific site conditions such as the attachment type, and the ability to expand and decrease system capacity at the time of install.
