October 10th, 2018 – World Technology Corporation (World Tech), a preferred supplier of capital equipment for commercial and utility-scale solar systems, announced today that it has successfully supplied 110kWp of Patriot Solar’s Aurora Ballasted Roof Mount solar mounting system to a Commercial Roof System.
The scope of supply consisted of Patriot Solar’s Aurora Ballasted Roof Mount system with ballast pans, panel clamps and integrated grounding, cabling and surge protection. The assembly is designed for efficient and simple installation.
The Aurora is a ballasted roof mount solution featuring integrated grounding, up to 150 M.P.H. wind load, and UL 467 Certification. The Aurora’s simple assembly design make it a leader in driving down installation time and balance of system costs. Modular assembly allows for averting roof top obstructions and utilizing available space in the most efficient way, and the stackable lightweight design results in reduced shipping costs.

American made products from Patriot Solar were chosen due to the minimum number of components, integrated grounding clamps, ease of installation, rapid install times, and its ability to be scaled.
For this particular project, World Technology’s team had to account for specific site conditions such as roof layout, and the ability to expand and decrease system capacity at the time of install.
