S-Energy Co., Ltd. is a Korean-based photovoltaic (PV) solar module and BIPV manufacturer. Founded in 1992 as a division within Samsung Electronics, the company was spun-out in 2001 as an independent company. As a result, it is one of the longest-standing and most reliable PV manufacturing companies in the world. S-Energy America was formed in early 2011 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of S-Energy. S-Energy America is responsible for PV module sales and project development and financing for rooftop portfolio and utility-scale projects.
